Play #058 Leverage Your Brand to Drive Sales

How sellers can maximize Linkedin to drive more revenue

Each week, I bring you battle tests, sales plays, and learning lessons from my experience as a 3X Sales Leader and 4X Founder with multiple exits.

Leverage Your Brand to Drive Sales

In today’s selling environment, everything is digital, and buyers want to know what they are dealing with. Your brand can work for or against you, and not having a brand definitely won’t help you. The bottom line is people buy from people. I want to give you some tips that have helped me leverage my brand to secure many deals and close over $2M in revenue from my brand.

1. Optimize Your LinkedIn Profile

Your LinkedIn profile is your superhero suit. Make it powerful! Use a professional photo, craft a catchy headline, and write a compelling summary that showcases your skills and mission. Think of it as your business card on the digital playground. When people visit, they should instantly know what you're about.

Tactical Tip: Use keywords relevant to your industry in your headline to make it easier for others to find you.

2. Build Your Network

Connect strategically! Identify key players in your industry, potential clients, and influencers. Quality connections matter more than quantity. Aim for those who align with your mission. Don't just send connection requests; add a personal note explaining why you want to connect. It's like forming your superhero squad for a mission!

Tactical Tip: Regularly review your connection requests and accept those that align with your business goals.

3. Be an Authority with Content

Create content that packs a punch! Share valuable insights, success stories, and tips related to your industry. Be the go-to source for information. Create a content calendar to stay consistent. Share your secret strategies without giving away all your powers – leave them wanting more!

Tactical Tip: Use a mix of posts, articles, and multimedia to keep your content engaging and diverse.

4. Engagement Drives Sales

Engagement is your secret weapon. Respond to comments, ask questions, and join discussions. Don't be a bystander; actively participate in the LinkedIn universe. Engaging with your audience builds trust and loyalty. Consider it the friendly banter between superheroes.

Tactical Tip: Set aside time daily to engage with your LinkedIn community and respond promptly to messages.

5. Convert Connection into Customers

Now, the ultimate mission is to turn connections into revenue! Leverage your network for business opportunities. Reach out to potential clients, collaborate with industry leaders, and explore partnership opportunities. Your LinkedIn community is your business ally – make the most of it to drive a quality pipeline.

Tactical Tip: Be strategic in your outreach, building relationships before diving into sales pitches.

Peace Out

See you again next week!
